The Tunisian Ministry of Transport stated that the Minister Mr. Rabie Majidi, received today, Monday, May 30, 2022, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Tunisia, Mr. Saad bin Nasser Al-Homidi, to discuss opportunities for cooperation between both countries.

When reviewing the most important projects under implementation and programmed in the fields of land, rail, sea and air transport, the Minister of Transport called for further strengthening joint cooperation between Tunisia and Qatar in a way that reflects the spirit of rapprochement between the two brotherly countries.

From his part, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar reviewed the most important preparations of his country to organize the 2022 FIFA World Cup, especially in the transport sector, and the Minister praised the value of these preparations for this important event in a short and record time, the thing that honors the Arab and Islamic countries in general.

At the end of this meeting, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar presented an invitation addressed to the Minister of Transport from the part of the Qatari Minister of Transport to visit the State of Qatar

in order to further discussing joint cooperation in the fields of transport, logistics and issues of common interest.
