The Ministry of Trade and Export Development in Tunisia stated that the Minister, Kalthoum Ben Rjab Kzah, received today’s evening, at the headquarters of the Ministry, The Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye to Tunisia, Caglar Fahri Cakiralp.

The meeting was an occasion to review the economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries, and to emphasize on the importance of working towards adjusting the trade balance, which currently shows a significant deficit in favor of Turkey, according to the ministry.

This can be achieved through a review of the free trade agreement between the two countries, supporting Tunisian exports, facilitating their access to the Turkish market, and intensifying Turkish investments in Tunisia, particularly within various promising sectors of partnership.
