Today, Tuesday, January 17, 2023, the Tunisian Minister of Employment and Vocational Training, Mr Nasreddine Nsibi, stressed the ministry's readiness to strengthen cooperation with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) in the field of employment and training of refugees.

At a meeting with the UNHCR Representative in Tunisia, Mrs. Hanan Hamden at the end of her mission in Tunisia, the Tunisian Minister stated the readiness of his department to work towards an effective cooperation program and emphasized the need to establish new mechanisms to deal with issues related to refugees and asylum seekers, according to a statement by the ministry.

For her part, Mrs. Hanan Hamdan praised the level of cooperation with the ministry and the Tunisian government in dealing with the file of refugees and asylum seekers, particularly with regard to their integration in the labor market in Tunisia.
