The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad stated that ss part of his working visit to Hungary on 20 and 21 June 2023, the Minister Nabil Ammar, held talks yesterday afternoon with the Head of the Hungarian Parliament, Kövér László, during which they reviewed the distinguished historical ties that unite the two countries and the two friendly peoples,
They also underlined the importance of the shared values and principles that unite them, while discussing the status of bilateral relations and ways of developing them in a number of sectors, mainly economic and cultural, in an approach based on partnership and mutual benefit.
The two officials also exchanged views on a number of issues of common interest and on the challenges facing the two countries, stressing the need to joint efforts and strengthen solidarity in order to find appropriate solutions to the various problems raised.
Minister Ammar expressed his wish to see the Head of the Hungarian Parliament visit Tunisia in the coming period, which would be an opportunity to reinforce parliamentary cooperation between the two countries and further enhance bilateral relations.
