The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad stated that the Minister Mr. Nabil Ammar received today March 29, 2023, at the ministry’s headquarters, the Ambassadors of Brazil and Poland to Tunisia.

The new Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil to Tunisia, Mr. Fernando José de Abreu, presented to the Minister a copy of his credentials.

For his part, the Tunisian Minister welcomed the Brazilian diplomat and wished him success in his duties. Also, he assured him of the Ministry's willingness to provide him with all the necessary support to carry out his noble mission under the most favorable conditions, emphasizing the strong relations between the two friendly countries, which are based on mutual trust and on the tradition of consultations on regional and international issues.

In return, the new Ambassador of Brazil expressed his determination to further enhance the friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries in all areas, in order to serve their mutual interests.

Later on, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Tunisia, Ms. Justyna Porazinska, who congratulated him for his recent appointment by the President of the Republic.

On this occasion, the Minister praised the long-standing bonds of friendship between Tunisia and Poland, stressing the importance of sharing the experiences of the two countries in democratic consolidation and economic reforms.

This meeting also dealt with the state of cooperation between the two countries and the means to develop them, mainly in the fields of culture, higher education and scientific research, as well as Tunisian phosphate exports to Poland.

In this respect, the Polish Ambassador asserted that she will spare no effort to enhance the ties of friendship and cooperation between Tunisia and Poland for the mutual benefit of both countries.
