The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad, stated, that the Minister Othman Jerandi will participate in the high-level meeting of the 77^th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, which will be held in New York from 20 to 26 September 2022.

The Tunisian Minister will deliver a speech during the general debate of this session under the theme: "A turning point: transformative solutions to interrelated challenges.”

According to a statement from the Foreign Affairs Department, Jerandi will take part in high-level meetings on the sidelines of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, which will focus on current regional and international challenges, including climate change and the impact of the crisis caused by Covid-19.

He will also hold talks with his counterparts from other countries and representatives of international organizations to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral and multi-stakeholder cooperation, according to the same source.
