The Head of the Tunisian Government, Najla Bouden Ramadan received this morning, at the Government Palace in Al-Kasbah, the French Ambassador to Tunisia, André Parant, on the occasion of the end of his duties in Tunisia, stated the Tunisian Government.

The meeting was an occasion for the Head of Government to affirm the depth of the existing historical relations between Tunisia and France in various economic and trade fields, and their joint keenness to further support them in new fields.

She thanked the French ambassador for what he provided throughout his tenure in Tunisia and his role in further strengthening cooperation relations between the two countries in a number of files of common interest, according to the same source.

On this occasion, the Head of Government also stressed the importance of convening the fourth session of the Higher Tunisian-French Council for Cooperation.

For his part, the French Ambassador expressed his happiness throughout his stay in Tunisia because of the good and suitable conditions he found to perform his duties in the best manner.
