Today, Monday, October 9, 2023, the President Kais Saied chaired a working session, at Carthage Palace, attended by the Head of Government, Ahmed Hachani, and several members of the government, to discuss ways of supporting the Palestinian people in the diplomatic and health fields, especially by providing them with the necessary medicines, surgical instruments and blood donations, stated the Presidency of the Tunisian Republic.

This meeting also discussed ways to support the Palestinian people by providing electricity generators following the power cut in many parts of the Gaza Strip.

"Contacts were held between the Tunisian Red Crescent and the Palestinian Red Crescent to determine the needs of the Palestinian brothers in their confrontation with the Zionist enemy," the statement said.

The meeting also discussed the possibility of transferring a number of wounded Palestinians to Tunisia, as well as the possibility of sending specialized Tunisian doctors and paramedics to Palestine.

The meeting was attended the Minister of Defense, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, the Minister of Social Affairs, the Minister of Health, the Advisor to the President, and the President of the Tunisian Red Crescent.
