$178 Million for Tunisia from The African Development Bank

The African Development Bank has allocated $2 billion to achieve comprehensive growth in North Africa, including $178 million for Tunisia.

In 2023, the African Development Bank Group funded a series of key operations in North Africa with a total value exceeding $2 billion in various strategic sectors. For Tunisia, the total approved amount reached approximately $178 million, including nearly €90 million for the rehabilitation of clean sewage water and its increased use in the agricultural sector, while reducing energy costs through solar energy utilization.

This project will contribute to improving water balance and enhancing resilience in the face of climate change.
