The Tunisian ministry of Health declared that on Wednesday, March 09, 2022, 3 deaths and 2099 new cases of coronavirus were recorded. Thus, the total number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic has reached 28018, while the total number of positive cases has reached 1020546.

In its daily report on the development of the epidemiological situation in the country, the Tunisian Ministry of Health also indicated that the rate of positive analyses amounted to 26.07% of the total of 8051 done completed tests on the same date.

The ministry also revealed that the number of patients in public and private hospitals reached 495 cases, 113 cases in the resuscitation and intensive care departments and 36 cases under artificial respiration in both sectors.
