A big fire in Beja that destroyed 156 hectares of forest trees
The Civil Protection, Forestry, and Army units are continuing their efforts since noon yesterday, June 26, to put out a fire that had erupted in AlMorra Mountain, Mjaz Elbab in the Governorate of Beja and caused the destructions of more than 156 hectares of forest trees, according to the spokesman of The Civil Protection to IFM radio.
The concerned authorities found it difficult to put out the fire due to strong winds and high temperatures, according to the same source.
Six Civil Protection fire trucks and four forest guard trucks in addition to a firefighting plane were used to put out the fire.
