The Tunisian Minister of Health, Ali Mrabet, received on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at the Ministry’s headquarters, experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Carlo Bariste and Toba Tajvidi, during their inspection visit to Tunisia on July 12 and 13, and in the presence of officials from the Minister of Health.

On the occasion, the Tunisian Minister praised the efforts made by the International Atomic Energy Agency for the proper use of atomic energy within the framework of the International Convention for the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.

From their part, the two experts valuedthe Tunisia's respect for its obligations in the field of radiation protection and the success of their inspection visit.
