The Presidency of the Republic of Tunisia stated that the President Kais Saied had a phone call with the President of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on Sunday, December 01, 2023.

The two presidents exchanged greetings on the occasion of the new year, and they stressed on their shared and firm determination to develop the "brotherly and strong relations that unite the one people of Tunisia and Algeria," according to the same source.

Tunisia's and Algeria's support for the Palestinian people in the face of the barbaric Zionist aggression was also raised during the telephone conversation.
