A telephone conversation took place today, Friday, March 10, 2023, between the President of the Republic of Tunsia, Kais Saied, and the President of the Republic of Senegal, Macky Sall, according to a statement by the Presidency of the Republic of Tunisia.

During this call, the two presidents discussed the distinguished relations between Tunisia and Senegal since independence until today, and stressed the common determination to further develop them in all fields.

The Tunisian President stated, by the way, that Tunisia is proud of its African affiliation and is keen to strengthen its relations with other African countries within a bilateral and multilateral framework. He also reaffirmed that solutions to the continent's problems stem from the will of its people.

He also extended an invitation to visit Tunisia to the Senegalese President, who welcomed it, provided that its date will be determined soon.
