The head of the Free Destourian Party, Abir Moussi, said in a speech during a protest march on Kheireddine Pasha street in Tunis the capital today, Sunday, March 13, 2022, "We are at the gates of famine and the ruler by his order ) in reference to the President, Kais Saied (  and the government refuse to be frank with the people".

Moussi added that the state’s budget for the year 2022 was absent from visions and operations for rescuing Tunisia, noting that this budget appears to be in complete deficit, according to her expression.

She also renewed her condemnation of the Union of Muslim Scholars in Tunisia, despite the passage of 3 months of the party sit-in demanding the dissolution of the union in Tunisia and its prosecution.

Moussi revealed that "today’s march is a sample of other protest movements that the party will make to demand an end to the exceptional situation and to move towards elections, in addition to denounce the country’s economic situation".
