Algiers: bilateral talks between The Tunisian and the Algerian Presidents

During his working visit to Algeria on July 4-5,2022, the Tunisian President, Kais Saied held talks with the Algerian President, Abdelmajid Tebboune on Monday evening in Algiers.

"The two presidents reviewed the exemplary relations between Tunisia and Algeria, underscoring their shared destiny and joint willingness to keep on exerting unremitting efforts according to new visions and perceptions, in order to further foster the ties of brotherhood, solidarity and integration", according to a statement by the Presidency of the Tunisian Republic of Tunisia.

A number of regional and international issues of mutual interest were also discussed on the occasion.

The Tunisian President, on Monday evening, also attended with the Algerian President the inauguration procession of the "Freedom" landmark in the Sidi Fredj region.

This landmark "reminds us of our glorious and shared history, full of giving and the martyrs' blood, Saied said, according to a videotape published by the Presidency of the Tunisian Republic.
