Arab Summit: a meeting between the Tunisian and Egyptian Presidents

The Presidency of the Republic of Tunisia stated that the President Kaïs Saïed met on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, with his Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah al-Sissi, as part of his participation in the Arab Summit in Algiers.

The meeting focused on ways to strengthen ties between the two countries, in line with new visions that meet the two peoples' aspirations, and address common social and economic challenges.

The two heads of state also reviewed subjects on the agenda of the Arab Summit.

From his part, the Egyptian President praised Tunisia for its role in championing Arab causes during its chairmanship of the previous Arab Summit.
