
Bashar al-Assad meets Tunisian rescue teams in Aleppo
The Syrian President, Bashar al-Assad, made a visit today, Friday, February 10, 2023, to the place where the rescue teams, including Tunisian teams, are working in Al-Masharqa, Aleppo, to remove rubble and recover the injured and victims after the deadly earthquake that occurred last Monday.
Bashar al-Assad also paid a visit to Aleppo University Hospital to check on the condition of the injured and those affected by the earthquake, and listened to them about their conditions and needs.
He also heard from the medical staff about the nature of the medical support that was provided to the injured and the challenges they faced in the unprecedented ordeal of the earthquake.
Addressing the doctors and cadres working in the hospital, President al-Assad said: “We are proud of the national cadres in all crises, and in the earthquake crisis, we witnessed many heroics, and the doctors who work in the shadows are part of these heroics.”
