12 people died and 355 others were injured in various accidents during the past 24 hours, according to the spokesman of the Civil Protection on Monday, May 29, 2023.

The same source stated that the civil protection units intervened in 324 occasions: 26 for extinguishing fire, 118 for rescue and ambulance, and 175 for non-traffic accidents.
