15 people died and 470 others were injured in various accidents during the past 24 hours, according to the spokesman of the Civil Protection on Friday, August 2, 2024.

The same source stated that the civil protection units intervened in 473 occasions: 99 for extinguishing fire, 127 for rescue and ambulance, 239 for non-traffic accidents, and 15 for the rest.
