16 people died and 396 others were injured in various accidents during the past 24 hours, according to the spokesman of the Civil Protection on Friday, September 22, 2023.

The same source stated that the civil protection units intervened in 427 occasions: 75 for extinguishing fire, 113 for rescue and ambulance and 298 for non-traffic accidents.
