17 people died and 420 others were injured in various accidents during the past 24 hours, according to the spokesman of the Civil Protection on Monday, July 29, 2024.

The same source stated that the civil protection units intervened in 364 occasions: 93 for extinguishing fire, 130 for rescue and ambulance, 127for non-traffic accidents, and 14 for the rest.
