17 people died and 377 others were injured in various accidents during the past 24 hours, according to the spokesman of the Civil Protection on Monday, August 14, 2023.

The same source stated that the civil protection units intervened in 377 occasions: 63 for extinguishing fire, 117 for rescue and ambulance, 182 for non-traffic accidents, 4 for rescue on the beaches and 11 for the rest.
