18 people died and 405 others were injured in various accidents during the past 24 hours, according to the spokesman of the Civil Protection on Monday, July 31, 2023.

The same source stated that the civil protection units intervened in 460 occasions: 66 for extinguishing fire, 116 for rescue and ambulance, and 246 for non-traffic accidents.
