20 people died and 390 others were injured in various accidents during the past 24 hours, according to the spokesman of the Civil Protection on Friday, July 28, 2023.

The same source stated that the civil protection units intervened in 442 occasions: 67 for extinguishing fire, 109 for rescue and ambulance, and 253 for non-traffic accidents.
