20 people died and 408 others were injured in various accidents during the past 24 hours, according to the spokesman of the Civil Protection on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.

The same source stated that the civil protection units intervened in 521 occasions: 95 for extinguishing fire, 115 for rescue and ambulance, and 290 for non-traffic accidents.
