6 people died and 315 others were injured in various accidents during the past 24 hours, according to the spokesman of the Civil Protection on Monday, January 8, 2024.

The same source stated that the civil protection units intervened in 300 occasions: 22 for extinguishing fire, 79 for rescue and ambulance and 189 for non-traffic accidents.
