COVID-19: 143 new cases from September 26 to October 2.

The Ministry of Health announced that 143 additional cases of infection by the coronavirus were recorded during the period from September 26 to October 2, 2022, after carrying out 4058 tests, i.e. a positivity rate of 3.5%.

The number of deaths reported during the same period amounts to 5, bringing the total number of deaths to 29,254, according to a report of the Ministry of Health published on Tuesday.

According to the same source, 7 people infected with COVID-19 were admitted to public and private hospitals during the same period, while 351 patients recovered.
