Units of the National Guard in Djerba (southeast) thwarted, last night, an operation to cross the maritime borders by stealth and rescued 66 irregular immigrants from Arab nationalities after their boat sank at sea, according to a spokesman for the National Guard.

The same source added, in a report today, Thursday, December 08, 2022, that the Public Prosecution Office authorized to take action regarding these irregular immigrants.
