Fires that broke out in forests in Sejnane and Joumine, governorate of Bizerte, were put out after 72 hours of intervention, Local Director of Civil Protection Kamel Melliti said today, Tuesday.

Some 80 hectares of forests were ravaged. Field teams are still checking pockets of fire in remote areas until the cooling phase is over.
