First suspected case of Monkeypox reported in Germany
Today, Friday, May 20, the German Ministry of Health announced the discovery of the first suspected case of Monkeypox, amid indications that the virus is spreading around the world.
Among the virus symptomps are fever and pimples on the skin that starts from the face and then spreads, in addition to headaches.The virus is divided into two strains, the first is the Congo strain, which is the most dangerous, with a mortality rate of 10%, and the West African strain, with a mortality rate of about 1% of cases.
Monkeypox is a viral disease transmitted from animals to human with symptoms similar to those seen smallpox patients, but less severe clinically, according to the World Health Organization.
