In recent days, the tourist destination in the Governorate of Tozeur has experienced a surge, coinciding with the school holidays, attracting a significant number of tourists from various nationalities.

Particularly noteworthy is the influx from the domestic market, which serves as the driving force and supporter of the sector. Hotel occupancy rates have been recorded at over 90%, reaching 100% in the last three days of the administrative year, said the Regional Head of Travel Agencies in the Southeast, Abdel Fattah Malik.

Various sites, whether in the city of Tozeur, the mountain oases trail, or the site of "Neck of the Camel," have witnessed a large number of tourists. This aligns with the decision of the French company "Tunisavia" to extend the direct air route from Tozeur to Paris until June 30, 2024.
