Four companies for transporting fuels announce a strike
The Secretary General of the General Federation of Oil and Chemicals (under the Tunisian General Labor Union), Mr. Salwan Samiri, said on Monday, June 6, that a three-day strike was decided to be started from June 9, by the employees of four companies distributing fuel.
This decision comes after the failure of the reconciliation session held to negotiate a wage increase for the years 2021-2022, as the administrations of the four companies rejected the principle of the increase, which prompted the union party to announce the strike.
