The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad stated that the Minister Nabil Ammar headed the Tunisian delegation participating at the meeting of the 159th Session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the Ministerial level which was held today, March 8, 2023, in Cairo.

In his speech, the Tunisian Minister emphasized on the importance of Arab solidarity, and especially in front of the current challenges and circumstances.

He also expressed Tunisia's firm support for the cause of the Palestinian people and the defense of their legitimate rights, and the need to find political solutions to the crises in the region.

He called for the promotion of joint Arab action and the activation of its mechanisms in the economic and social fields, by insisting on Tunisia's willingness to engage actively in the process of reforming the system of joint Arab action and upgrading the role of the Arab League.
