
Jerandi participates in the 48th session of the CMF in Pakistan
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad declared in a statement, today, Monday March 21, 2022, that the Minister Othman Jerandi will participate in the 48th session of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CMF) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), to be held on 22-23 March 2022 in Islamabad, Pakistan.
The ministry added that this session is held under the slogan of “building partnerships for unity, justice and development”, and its agenda includes a number of current regional issues that ministers will discuss in light of international changes and developments and the implications they impose on Islamic countries.
This session will also discuss the ways to develop the Joint Islamic Action System and improve its role and the performance of its institutions in response to the challenges facing the group of Islamic countries.
The meeting will be an occasion in which Othman Jerandi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad, will meet with the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and his counterparts from the foreign ministers participating in the session in order to consider issues related to bilateral cooperation, issues of common interest and current international developments.
