The Egyptian Presidential Office announced in a statement that a phone conversation took place today, Tuesday, December 19, 2023, between the Tunisian President Kais Saied and his counterpart, Abdel Fattah al-Sissi.

During this call, President Saied expressed his congratulations on the occasion of  al-Sissi re-election as the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt for a new presidential term.

He also confirmed Tunisia’s commitment to continuing cooperation with Egypt in various fields, highlighting the distinguished relations between the two nations.

For his part, the Egyptian President expressed gratitude and emphasized Egypt’s determination to further enhance bilateral cooperation and consultation between the two countries, according to the same source.
