The President of the Tunisian Republic, Kais Saied, received, today, Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at the Carthage Palace, Mr. Gilles Kepel, Special Envoy of the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron.

During this meeting, they discussed the solid friendship and fruitful cooperation existing between Tunisia and France, as well as an exchange of views on a number of issues related to the general situation in the region and in the world in light of the accelerating transformations and successive crises and their regional and international impacts.

This meeting was also an occasion to affirm the common belief in the values of freedom, democracy and the protection of human rights.
