The new Minister of Trade and Export Development, Mrs. Kalthoum Ben Rejeb was sworn in before the President Kais Saied at a ceremony held on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Carthage Palace, according to a statement by the Presidency of the Republic of Tunisia.

Mrs. Ben Rejeb was sworn in as the new Minister of Trade and Export Development, succeeding Mrs. Fadila Al-Rabhi, who was dismissed from her duties last week after a meeting between the President and the Head of Government. The reasons for this dismissal were not specified.
