
Military cooperation reviewed between Tunisia and Canada
The Tunisian Minister of National Defense, Emad Memmish, received today morning, at the headquarters of the Ministry, the Ambassador of Canada to Tunisia, Lorraine Diguer.
The meeting served as an opportunity to review the level of military cooperation between the two sides and explore ways to enhance it further.
The Minister of National Defense expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation between Tunisia and Canada in various fields, emphasizing the need to continue working on developing military cooperation between the two friendly countries by establishing a permanent partnership in the areas of training, exchange of expertise, within a framework of mutual trust and respect.
For her side, the Canadian Ambassador, praised the strong relations between the two friendly peoples, affirming her country's keenness to further develop military cooperation, expand its scope, and work on finding suitable means and mechanisms to achieve this in the interest of both parties.
