Nabil Ammar Receives Invitation from his Qatari Counterpart to Visit Doha

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar, received the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Tunisia, Saad Bin Nasser Al-Homidi, today, Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

The Qatari Ambassador paid a farewell visit as his mission in Tunisia comes to an end.

The meeting was an opportunity for the Tunisian Minister to highlight the deep and longstanding fraternal ties between the two brotherly countries, stressing the importance of elevating bilateral relations to the highest levels.

The Minister also welcomed an invitation from the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, to visit Doha and hold the 8th session of the High Joint Tunisian-Qatari Commission, promising to make the visit at the earliest possible opportunity.

He also praised the efforts of the Qatari Ambassador in supporting and enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries throughout his tenure in Tunisia. The Minister conveyed his greetings to his Qatari counterpart and expressed wishes for further prosperity and well-being for Qatar and its people.

For his part, the Qatari Ambassador affirmed that the relations between the two countries are distinguished and that Qatar is keen to hold the next session of the High Joint Commission as soon as possible, noting that it will be a new milestone in supporting the path of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

He also expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to all Tunisian authorities for the support and cooperation he received during his mission, which contributed to its success, confirming his affection and esteem for Tunisia and its people.
