The Tunisian FM had several bilateral meetings with his counterparts in New York

As part of his participation in the High-Level Segment of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly during the period from September 18 to 23, 2023 in New York, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar, held a series of bilateral meetings with the Foreign Ministers of Estonia, Slovakia, Austria, Greece and Bulgaria and the Minister of State of the United Arab Emirates, according to a statement released today, Wednesday, by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad.

These meetings were an occasion to review the existing cooperation and partnership relations between these countries and Tunisia, and to discuss ways to further develop them in various fields.

The Minister also exchanged views with his counterparts regarding developments on the regional and international levels, and reaffirmed Tunisia’s positions on the issues mentioned on the General Assembly’s agenda, calling for the need to strengthen international cooperation and solidarity and activate multilateral action and the role of the United Nations, in a way that helps confront various challenges and overcome the existing and emerging difficulties in order to build more just international relations, stated the Ministry.
