The 18^th Maghreb Banking Summit on the theme: "Challenges and Prospects of Banking Activity", will be held on November 14 -15, 2022, in Algiers, along with the 16th session of the General Assembly of the Union of Maghreb Banks (UBM).

The summit offers a discussion on most pressing questions related to the challenges of the banking activity through panels focusing in particular, on: The New Generation of Banking Platforms, Banking, Payments and New Technologies - Trends and Impacts, the Revolution of Open Banking in the Arab Maghreb Region and The Challenges of the Banking and Financial Ecosystem.

During the event, workshops will also be held on the themes: "Artificial Intelligence for Banks", "Cyber-security Practices and Techniques in Banks" and "Compliance with International Standards in the fight against Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism,” according to a press release by the Union of Maghreb Banks.

This international event will be attended by a large number of leaders and senior executives of Central Banks, Maghreb banks and financial institutions, business leaders as well as many international partners and experts.
