At the invitation of the Congregation of French Enterprises (MEDEF in French), the Tunisian Head of Government,  Mrs. Najla Bouden Ramadan,  pays  a working visit to Paris from August 29 to 31, 2022, in order to participate as a guest of honor in the Entrepreneurs Forum, which this year receives about 10,000 visitors, including many of business owners.

The Head of Government and the official Tunisian delegation composing of the Tunisian Minister of Industry, Mines and Energy, and the Advisor to the Head of Government, were received upon their arrival at Paris airport by the Tunisian Ambassador to France, the Vice President and Official Spokesperson for MEDEF.

Later, the Head of Government was received at the "LaREF 22" event by the President of the Congregation of French Enterprises (MEDEF), Mr. Geoffroy Roux De Bézieux, , with whom she held a bilateral meeting on ways to develop economic cooperation between Tunisia and France and ways to enhance investments of French companies in Tunisia with focus on competitive, innovative and high value-added sectors in Tunisia such as renewable energies, new technologies and artificial intelligence.

The Head of Government participated in the official opening ceremony of “La REF 22” alongside  with the First Minister of the French Republic, Mrs. Elisabeth Borne, the Prime Minister of Poland, Mr. Mateusz Morawiecki and the President of MEDEF, Mr. Geoffroy Roux De Bézieux.

A delegation of senior Tunisian businessmen, headed by the President of the Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts (UTICA in French), Mr. Samir Majoul, also participated in the opening ceremony.

On the occasion, the Head of Government held talks with senior officials of a number of major French companies and startups wishing to invest in Tunisia.
