
On Africa Day, Tunisia expresses its pride to belong to this continent
On Africa Day, observed on May 25 each year, Tunisia expresses its pride of belonging to Africa, and reaffirms its concern to place joint African action, economic inclusion and regional integration at the forefront of its foreign policy.
In a statement published today, Thursday, by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad, Tunisia reaffirms its commitment to actively contribute to fostering relations of solidarity and cooperation with a view to achieving the expected African complementarity and reinforcing the attributes of peace, security and stability across the Continent.
Tunisia, as one of the Founding Fathers of the African Union (AU), affirms in the statement its commitment to contribute to finding just and lasting peaceful solutions to the various African problems, with the aim of achieving the objectives of the African Union's Agenda 2063 for a safe, stable and prosperous Africa.
