Phone call between the Tunisian FM and His Iranian Counterpart

The Minister of foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar, received yesterday, Monday, a phone call from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hussein Amir Abdollahian, stated the Tunisian Foreign Ministry.

This phone conversation was mainly about the brutal aggression against Gaza Strip and the exchange of views on ways to stop immediately this aggression.

The two Ministers stressed the heinousness of the crimes committed by the occupying entity and its systematic policy of genocide against the innocent and defenseless Palestinian civilians, children, women and elderly, in flagrant defiance of all international conventions and divine and humanitarian laws.

The two ministers welcomed the steadfastness of the Palestinian people against the occupation and Stressed the need for the international community to assume its political and moral responsibilities to stop the aggression, prevent any attempt to displace the Palestinians from their lands, provide the necessary protection for the Palestinian people and enable them to receive the necessary humanitarian assistance, added the Tunisian Foreign Ministry.

The two Ministers assert the importance of the OIC Ministerial extraordinary Meeting of the Executive Committee on the military escalation in Gaza, regarding the Military Escalation in Gaza, scheduled for Wednesday October 18, 2023, in Jeddah and its importance to coordinate the position of the Islamic States and strengthening their efforts and action-plan at the regional and international level to impose an immediate cessation of this aggression
