The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad stated that the Minister Mr. Nabil Ammar, received, Today, March 4, 2023, a phone call from his Syrian counterpart, Dr. Faisel Mekdad., during which he conveyed the greetings and consideration of the Syrian President Mr. Bashar Al-Assad, to the President Kais Saied.

The Syrian Minister thanked Tunisia for all the help given during the recent earthquake that hit the north of the country.

This conversation also represented an occasion in which the two ministers renewed the desire to return the fraternal bilateral relations between Tunisia and Syria to their normal course, especially through raising the level of diplomatic representation and exchanging visits of officials of the two countries.
