On the morning of August 26, 2024, Mohamed Ali Nafti, newly appointed as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, received a congratulatory phone call from his Algerian counterpart, Ahmed Attaf, Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.

Minister Attaf expressed his heartfelt congratulations to his Tunisian counterpart recognizing the significant trust placed in him by the President of the Republic.

The two ministers highlighted the deep and enduring fraternal bonds between the leaderships and peoples of their respective countries, stated the Tunisian Foreign Ministry.

They reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation across all sectors, while also intensifying coordination and consultation on international matters and issues of mutual interest, in line with the directives of their nations' leaderships.
