The Qatari Amiri Diwan stated that the Amir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, and the Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, have witnessed today, Tuesday, September 14, 2022,  at the Amiri Diwan, the signing of several Memoranda of understanding between the governments of the two countries: a memorandum of understanding between the Qatar Investment Authority and Egypt's Sovereign Fund for Investment and Development, a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of ports, and a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the fields of social affairs.

This signing ceremony was attended from the Qatari side by a number of ministers and high officials, and from the Egyptian side by the official accompanying delegation.

the Egyptian President is on a two-day official visit to the State of Qatar from 13 to 14 September, 2022.
