Starting from Nov. 20 : entry visa to Serbia is mandatory for Tunisians
Serbian and Swiss press reports revealed that the Serbian authorities decided to impose an entry visa on travelers coming from Tunisia, with the decision to enter into force on November 20.
The Office of Tunisians Abroad also confirmed this decision.
The Swiss Federal Department of Justice and Police had tweeted Saturday "Belgrade changes its policy", by reintroducing the visa for citizens of Burundi and Tunisia. For Tunisia, this measure will enter into force on November 20.
Serbia's decision is a "success for Switzerland and other countries (of the area) Schengen in the fight against irregular migration through the Balkan route," wrote the Swiss department.
It is noteworthy that the European Union countries have accused Serbia of contributing to a significant increase in the number of immigrants to Europe, especially since they do not need a visa to enter its territory.
