Switzerland closed its airspace Today, Wednesday, June 15, 2022 "until further notice", as flights were suspended at Geneva and Zurich airports, due to a technical failure, according to a statement by the air traffic control service "Skyguide".

"A technical malfunction occurred in the Swiss group Skyguide for Air Navigation Services in the early hours of the morning, which caused  the closure of the Swiss airspace to traffic for security reasons," the statement said.

The company confirmed that the closure of the airspace will continue until further notice and that it is working hard to find a solution.
